Everpure announced it has completed its acquisition of 1touch, an innovator in data intelligence and orchestration.
According to Everpure, 1touch bridges the gap between managing datasets and managing information. The Everpure unified data plane will provide the steppingstone for 1touch to turn raw data into actionable knowledge. 1touch excels at data security and posture management (DSPM).
With this combination, 1touch will act as an AI multiplier through three core pillars:
- Continuous discovery: Finding and connecting heterogeneous data across on-prem, cloud, and SaaS environments in real time.
- AI-Driven classification and ontology: 1touch uses AI and ML to define broad data relationships, creating a business-aware ontology that evolves continuously.
- The knowledge graph: A semantic layer and relational map of data that provides the context to choose appropriate data, preventing “dumb” AI.
For the chief data officer, 1touch will provide a clear path to make data AI ready. Leaders can determine exactly what to profile, train, and build; identify gaps in data quality; and trigger automated workflows.
For data and storage administrators, 1touch will provide actionable visibility into the entire data estate to solve the challenge and risks of sprawl.
“While many in our space are still adding management layers to a fragmented portfolio of aging infrastructure, we are building a data intelligence layer on an Evergreen foundation. Everpure solved conventional storage and then unified operations.
