Fusion-io’s all-flash Fusion ION Accelerator version 2.3 is now certified by SAP as an enterprise storage solution for the SAP HANA platform, helping customers maximize mission- and business-critical application performance for data-intensive workloads.
The new certification enables Fusion-io to participate in SAP's program for SAP HANA-tailored data center integration using its certified solution. Through participation in the program, customers can leverage their existing hardware and infrastructure components for their SAP HANA-based environments, providing further choice for organizations even when working in heterogeneous environments.
Fusion ION Accelerator is an all-flash storage solution enabling application acceleration for business-critical enterprise workloads. "Fusion ION Accelerator – when used as a pair of clustered devices – is SAP-certified to scale-out to up to 32 nodes, making it one of the industry's leading scale-out storage solutions for SAP HANA. According to the companies, customers that use Fusion-io flash memory with SAP HANA can realize faster data load times, faster back-up and recovery times, and better SAN utilization. Fusion ION Accelerator delivers increased performance and scalability for deployments of SAP HANA at dramatically lower capacity costs.
