InfluxData Advances Analytic Capabilities for InfluxDB Cloud

InfluxData, creator of InfluxDB, is releasing InfluxDB Cloud 2.0, a serverless time series platform to meet the specialized requirements of today’s time-sensitive workloads.

The new product includes a free rate-limited tier, transparent usage-based pricing, and advanced analytic capabilities that allow customers to convert data into actionable information.

“InfluxDB Cloud 2.0 provides a cost-disruptive, highly customizable time series platform that allows developers and operators the flexibility they need to scale their applications while keeping our brand promise of ‘time to awesome,’” said Evan Kaplan, CEO of InfluxData.

InfluxDB Cloud 2.0 is a purpose-built platform that collects, stores, queries, processes and visualizes raw, high-precision, time-stamped data.

It provides customers real-time observability into their systems and supports a wide range of customer applications, including SLA-related monitoring around key business metrics for e-commerce sites, real-time monitoring of wind turbines for business insights to refine operations, click-stream analysis and real-user monitoring for better customer experience and dynamic pricing based on usage patterns and resource availability.

InfluxDB Cloud 2.0 also features Flux, the new data scripting and query language, which can extract more complex and valuable insights from data, better detect anomalies and enable real-time action with alerts and notifications.

The new user interface and getting-started process were designed around developer happiness and faster time to productivity, and include native client library collections and pre-built dashboards and scripts for common monitoring projects, such as Docker, Kubernetes, Nginx, Redis and more.

The product will also be available as an integrated solution on the Google Cloud Platform later this year.

InfluxDB Cloud was designed to improve the entire developer experience - so they can work faster and be more productive.
