Informatica PowerCenter and Data Quality Are Certified for Exadata Database Machine and SuperCluster


Informatica PowerCenter v. 9.6.1 and Data Quality v. 9.6.1 have achieved Oracle Exadata Optimized and Oracle SuperCluster Optimized status through the Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN). According to the companies, the products can be used with Oracle Exadata and Oracle SuperCluster, delivering up-to-five times faster performance on data load, query and profiling tasks.

Customers adopting Oracle Engineered Systems for high-volume, high-speed analytics can utilize Informatica PowerCenter and Data Quality to ingest, cleanse and transform various types of data into Oracle Exadata and Oracle SuperCluster to maximize the value of their engineered systems investment.

Informatica also announced plans for PowerCenter and Data Quality to leverage the multi-tenancy and in-memory capabilities of Oracle Database 12c for high-performance scenarios later this year. The company said PowerExchange for Relational Databases is now certified by Informatica for Oracle Database 12c with Multitenant and also will support Oracle In-Memory sources and targets later this year.
