Kore Technologies Introduces Kourier Integrator: U2 Edition - Release 3.1

Kore Technologies, a provider of enterprise integration and eCommerce Web solutions for MultiValue and Microsoft SQL Server databases, has launched Kourier Integrator: U2 Edition - Release 3.1.

Kourier Integrator for U2 is Kore's enterprise integration suite providing both extract, transform, and load (ETL), and enterprise application integration (EAI) capabilities for connecting Rocket Software UniData/UniVerse (U2) applications to Microsoft SQL Server and other applications. "Increased Productivity" is the theme for the new release, which includes enhancements focused on making the product easier to use.

“What Kore offers is really an end to end solution for ETL - for moving data from U2 into SQL Server. It is a complete environment designed to do just that,” Keith Lambert, vice president of marketing and business development at Kore Technologies, tells DBTA.  “We try to make moving data from U2 to SQL very easy and straightforward for customers. We spent a lot of time making this easy for customers to use from start to finish,” adds Mark Dobransky, managing partner at Kore Technologies.

According to Kore, two significant features in this release are support for RESTful Web Services and the Developer Suitcase Utilities.

Support for RESTful Web Services expands on the EAI capabilities of Kourier Integrator: U2 Edition by providing real-time access to U2 databases via RESTful Web Services that can be created without programming. "Including support for RESTful Web Services in Kourier Integrator is another milestone in the evolution of Kourier's EAI capabilities," says Lambert. "This enables our clients to provide real-time access to their U2 databases from just about anywhere, which opens up many integration possibilities."

The Developer Suitcase workbenches streamline and simplify the process of distributing ETL components between accounts and other servers, which is ideal for clients with larger installations containing multiple accounts and/or servers. The Developer Suitcase Utilities include a new Workbench interface to quickly select ETL components to pack or unpack to/from a suitcase;  enable users to select some or all ETL components of one or more integrations to pack into the suitcase; and also to unpack some or all components of a suitcase to a new account. The Developer Suitcase is expected to be useful for larger customers as well as VARs, notes Dobransky.

Additional highlights of the new release include a new database Connection Manager and many user-requested and productivity related improvements and enhancements. Complete details on the new release are available here
