LogicMonitor, the AI-first platform for Autonomous IT, announced a new operating model for IT that moves enterprises beyond the alert loop.
Built on LogicMonitor Envision and Edwin AI, with digital experience and internet performance insights from Catchpoint, this architecture helps teams see more of their environment, understand what matters, and take governed action, according to the company.
This approach is grounded in a simple premise: an alert is only useful when it leads to deeper understanding and better outcomes, the company said.
The announcement rolls out new operating capabilities across five essential areas of its Autonomous IT platform, helping enterprises move from seeing problems to solving them:
- Enterprise Data Foundation: More complete, open telemetry across metrics, logs, and cost signals, giving teams and AI the evidence they need to reason across the enterprise.
- Unified Context: Connections among infrastructure, applications, services, dependencies, users, and digital experience, helping teams understand what matters, why it matters, and who is affected.
- AI for Governed Action: Edwin AI investigations, domain-specific agents and workflows that turn operational context into root-cause insight and recommended next steps.
- Experience: A headless experience that brings Edwin AI into the tools where teams already work, rather than requiring them to move to another destination console.
- Action, Trust and Governance: Identity, permissions, policies, approvals, auditability, and guardrails that help organizations expand automation safely as confidence builds.
Together, they help enterprises move from observing isolated systems to operating connected services. Complete data gives teams deeper context, context improves AI reasoning, Experience brings intelligence into the flow of work and Action, Trust and Governance turn insight into accountable operational value.
“Autonomous IT is not a switch customers flip overnight. It’s a progression from trusted visibility, to better decisions, to governed action,” said Prabhu Nakkeeran, chief technology officer, LogicMonitor. “Our AI-first platform gives teams the data and context they need to move forward at their own pace, while keeping people firmly in charge of policies, approvals, and operational risk.”
LogicMonitor is strengthening the enterprise data foundation beneath Edwin AI with enhanced support for open standards such as OpenTelemetry, broader application logs, cost signals, and partition-level access controls. The result is telemetry that AI can reason over, not simply retrieve, said the company.
“AI is most valuable in IT operations when it helps teams understand what matters and take the next step with confidence,” said Karthik Sj, chief AI officer, LogicMonitor. “Edwin AI combines investigation with specialized expertise for network, infrastructure and the IT workflows that keep the business moving. It brings that expertise into the tools teams already use while keeping people in control of what AI can see, recommend and do. As trust builds, teams can hand more of the work to AI.”
LogicMonitor’s unified context connects topology, dependencies, business impact, and measured digital experience to support service-centric operations, helping teams distinguish technical noise from the issues that matter to the business, the company said.
LogicMonitor MCP for Edwin AI gives compatible AI clients a unified, read-only way to access LogicMonitor monitoring context and Edwin AI intelligence. Authentication and permissions control access, while governance controls help teams expand their use of AI as confidence builds.
