Melissa Launches Comprehensive Data Quality Platform with No Coding Required

Melissa, a provider of global contact data quality and identity verification solutions, has released Unison, its flagship platform for end-to-end data quality. Utilizing a single interface, Unison brings together a rich set of data quality transformations including data standardization, validation, and enrichment to deliver high quality information throughout the enterprise.

Unison currently supports Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL databases, and a variety of deliminated flat files to deliver address, email, and phone verification, and geocoding for U.S. and Canada records.

“Unison is an elegant client-server application that can be accessed through any modern browser. Tapping our many years of experience in data management, and listening to customers’ needs, we built Unison to be an easy-to-use, holistic data stewardship console. Unison mimics the steps of the data management workflow with a fully customizable interface, ideal for IT and business stakeholders tasked with stewardship and governance of enterprise data,” said Bud Walker, vice president, enterprise sales and strategy, Melissa.

According to Melissa, the easy-to-install, on-premise platform, features advanced container technology that is scalable across multiple servers and works completely offline, so data can be managed confidently on-site to meet compliance and security requirements. Role-based capabilities and configurable user rights further ensure secure access and management as well as effective project collaboration. Jobs can be scheduled to process during off hours to maximize performance, and beautiful, easy-to-read reports provide a high-level overview of how the data was improved.
