Less than one year following its acquisition of Sybase, SAP AG is opening up mobile solutions from the Sybase portfolio to partners within the global SAP ecosystem. This marks the first time that SAP value-added resellers (VARs) that are currently authorized to sell SAP BusinessObjects and SAP Business All-in-One solutions get the opportunity to sell select Sybase-branded enterprise mobility apps and solutions for application development, device management and security. This broadens the availability of combined SAP and Sybase solutions within the market and delivers new mobile and revenue opportunities to more than 3,000 potential SAP partners.

Sybase solutions available through the SAP ecosystem include:
- Afaria, a mobile device management and security solution for the enterprise.
- Sybase Unwired Platform, a mobile enterprise application platform that simplifies the development, deployment and management of mobile enterprise applications.
- Sybase Mobile Sales application for SAP CRM, providing anywhere, anytime access to the SAP Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM) application from iPhone and Windows Mobile smartphones, with support planned for additional devices such as BlackBerry.
- Sybase Mobile Workflow application for SAP Business Suite, which enables mobile workers to complete business processes - such as workflow items and alerts, time recording and travel requests that require immediate action - through a familiar and secure email inbox.
