MultiValue World 2026 Conference is ‘Smashing Success’

Following the MultiValue World Conference in April, Jay LaBonte, founder and chairman, MultiValue World Foundation, and president, Paradigm Systems, said the future is bright for the MultiValue space.

“Over the past several days, I’ve been hearing from people all over the MultiValue community about the recent MultiValue World conference, and I have to say, the responses have been incredible. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. People are excited, energized, and talking about the future again. Honestly, after hearing the conversations, reading the posts online, and speaking directly with attendees, I’m more fired up about the future of MultiValue than I’ve been in a very long time,” LaBonte wrote in a recent post.

For years, many in the industry casually referred to MultiValue as “legacy” technology. However, at the conference conversations weren’t centered around defending MultiValue, they were centered around where MultiValue is going next and how it continues to solve real business problems in modern environments, LaBonte said.

“I saw at this conference was something very different. I saw experienced developers, business leaders, architects, consultants, and younger engineers all sharing ideas, discussing solutions, and looking at ways to move forward together. There was energy in the room that you could genuinely feel,” noted LaBonte.

What also stood out at MultiValue World Conference was how open and willing people were to share ideas and experiences. Some of the best conversations didn’t happen during presentations, they happened in hallways, during meals, between sessions, and during spontaneous discussions where people exchanged technical knowledge, business insight, lessons learned, and future ideas

“I also want to personally thank every speaker, sponsor, attendee, volunteer, organizer, and supporter who helped make this event possible. Conferences do not happen because of one person. They happen because a community decides something is important enough to invest time, effort, energy, and support into making it successful. This community absolutely did that, and the results showed throughout the entire event. Personally, this conference re-energized me. Seeing the engagement, the younger attendees, the technical discussions, and the excitement around where MultiValue can go next reminded me exactly why I’ve believed in this technology and this community for so many years. Based on everything I’ve been hearing since the event ended, I truly believe this is only the beginning,” concluded LaBonte.
