Oracle Private Agent Factory Adds Business Context to Natural-Language SQL

Oracle is introducing Oracle AI Database Private Agent Factory 26.10, adding capabilities to help organizations build, connect, and manage AI agents working with enterprise data.

The release introduces Deep NL2SQL, which uses a Business Knowledge Graph to connect database tables with business definitions, metrics, rules, documents, and sample queries. This context helps agents interpret business questions and generate SQL, according to Oracle.

When a question is ambiguous, the agent can request clarification. Generated SQL is available for review, while a Knowledge Workbench lets experts maintain business context and reusable question-and-SQL examples.

An evaluation workflow allows teams to assess proposed knowledge changes before publishing them.

The release also introduces Agent Factory Python SDK, REST integration capabilities, reusable ingestion services, expanded agent interoperability, and native observability. These additions provide a visual environment for building and running private agents with Oracle Database, enterprise documents, APIs, and supported models.
