To foster developer creativity in architecting applications that solve pressing problems, Rackspace and ObjectRocket have announced the NoSQL Mobile App Challenge.
Contestants will be tasked with building user-friendly mobile apps that have real-world impact and supported with free access to various Rackspace technologies including ObjectRocket by Rackspace, Rackspace Cloud Databases, Rackspace Cloud Big Data Platform, and all Rackspace cloud features that are included in infrastructure support level.
The NoSQL Mobile App Challenge submission period will begin at the end of July, and the judging panel will consist of leaders from a variety of areas, including media companies, tech companies and investment firms. Cash prizes will be presented to developers with the winning apps.
