SAPhas announced a new rapid-deployment solution for SAP HANA Live, designed for real-time operational reporting within and beyond SAP Business Suite software powered by the SAP HANA platform. SAP HANA Live allows customers to perform real-time analysis on top of live transactional data for rapid insight into business operations.
“HANA Live provides real-time operational reporting in the integrated Business Suite on HANA stack or even on a side-car stack with pre-defined data models with a consistent, open and simplified architecture across SAP Business Suite solution,” explains Elvira Wallis, senior vice president of analytics, Database Technology and Mobile Solutions Packages. “This is the biggest advantage which was not available previously. It runs without expensive ETL processes and allows using the BI clients of the customer’s choice, as long as they have the ability to read SQL structures.”
Rapid deployment of SAP HANA Live offers customers pre-configured content in the form of 85 pre-built reports that cover a range of operational reporting content in critical areas such as finance, controlling, sales and distribution, governance, risk and compliance, customer relationship management and insurance. The reports provide insight into essential business operations, are easy to use and can be customized based on specific business needs.
SAP Rapid Deployment solutions include preconfigured software, best-practices content, end-user enablement and implementation methods, which allow customers to be up and running in as little as eight to 12 weeks. With the SAP HANA Live rapid-deployment solution, customers can address challenges such as slow reporting and poor visibility into operational data. Those that want to draw real-time insight across their entire business landscape can use the content delivered by the virtual data models to make informed decisions.
