Reltio, an enterprise data-driven applications and modern data management platform as a service (PaaS) company, has announced it has earned HITRUST CSF Certification status for information security from the Health Information Trust Alliance (HITRUST) for Reltio Cloud.
According to Reltio, CSF Certified status indicates that it is appropriately managing risk, and underscores its commitment to keeping data secure for companies in the healthcare and life sciences industries by complying with the most stringent standards, including those required by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
By achieving HITRUST CSF Certification, said Reltio CEO Manish Sood, Reltio continue to raise the bar on data security, ensuring that customers’ most valuable data assets are kept safe and secure.
The HITRUST CSF (Common Security Framework) is a security framework developed to help organizations better understand their information protection requirements and comply with government, federal and third-party compliance regulations and standards, including HIPAA, HITECH, PCI, and NIST.
By including multiple standards, best practice frameworks, federal and state regulations, and incorporating a risk-based approach, the HITRUST CSF helps organizations address these challenges through a comprehensive and flexible framework of prescriptive and scalable security controls.
