The Rocket Software MultiValue team announced the release of U2 Toolkit for .NET 3.1.3 this month.
The Rocket U2 Toolkit for .NET Provider offers a free .NET data provider interface for Rocket UniVerse and Rocket UniData, while U2 Toolkit for .NET Developer adds the ability to develop in Microsoft Visual Studio.
The U2 Toolkit for .NET 3.1.3 enhancements and improvements include:
- Support for .NET 10. The U2 Toolkit driver now supports applications running on the .NET 10 runtime, enabling .NET 10 applications to connect to UniVerse and UniData servers using the U2 Toolkit API.
- NuGet package availability. The U2 Data Client and U2 Entity Framework Core packages are now available directly from NuGet. Both packages target .NET 10 and can be installed and managed using the standard NuGet Package Manager in Visual Studio or the .NET CLI, simplifying dependency management and ensuring alignment with the latest supported .NET tooling.
- Updated End User License Agreement (EULA). The EULA has been updated to reflect the latest terms of use and will be presented to users during installation or upgrade of this release.
- Enhanced write operation reliability. Successful UniFile.Write(UniDataSet) operations no longer generate unexpected exceptions, and permission-related failures now return clearer error messages.
