Rocket Software announced the general availability of the latest version of its application modernization suite for user experience development, SOA integration, and enterprise mobile application development. LegaSuite 7.1 features LegaSuite Mobile, a new enterprise mobility product that enables organizations in any industry to facilitate mobile application development and integration with enterprise applications.
LegaSuite Mobile solutions can be deployed as mobile web applications or using an enterprise app store, and leverage technologies such as HTML5 and PhoneGap, which are approved for deployment in the Apple App Store, Google Play, and Microsoft Store.

"Customers can create mobile user experiences that feature designs and controls that today’s mobile-savvy users expect. They also can connect and integrate their mobile applications with their mission-critical enterprise resources in a way that takes minimal time and effort and is unique in the marketplace."
LegaSuite Mobile offers enterprise mobile integration with any application or data source. You can access enterprise applications using RESTful web services, traditional Windows user interfaces, as well as mainframe, midrange, and UNIX host applications. LegaSuite can also access most enterprise databases, from DB2 to SQL Server. The new suite also enables users to develop mobile user experiences for iOS, Android and Windows 8 mobile devices. The tool creates cross-platform mobile applications that run on all of these platforms, reaching over 85% of the global device market.
LegaSuite 7.1 also features support for RESTful web services and message routing in LegaSuite Integration and an upgraded version of LegaSuite Text Translation Tool (TTT), an application translation tool.
