SOC Type II Certification Completion by Kyligence Validates Data Security Processes

Kyligence, an open source Online Analytical Processing platform (OLAP) for big data, is announcing its completion of System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type II certification, meaning it now adheres to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).This is preceded by their completion of SOC Type I in 2021, assuring Kyligence’s continued compliance through third-party auditing office, Ernst & Young.

AICPA’s SOC certification documents an organization’s security processes for user data in an attempt to verify the effectiveness of said security. As a global standard for security certifications, an SOC report legitimizes businesses for potential service inquiries, according to the company. Kyligence has also completed other certifications for security compliance, such as ISO9001 and ISO27001.

Kyligence’s OLAP focuses on streamlining multidimensional data analytics on data lakes for increased data insight and optimized total cost of ownership (TCO) for company decision-making. With Kyligence Cloud, users can anticipate efficient operation at low cost and with scalable processes through cloud computing.

“Security compliance is a key principle in Kyligence's product design,” said Luke Han, CEO at Kyligence. “In our efforts to continuously improve data protection, network security, authentication, and authorization, Kyligence Cloud has successfully built an end-to-end security compliance architecture that provides an all-inclusive, multilayer corporate-level security system to protect our users’ data analysis and management on the cloud.
