Simbian, a leader in building superintelligence for security operations, and NuSummit Cybersecurity (part of NuSummit), a global provider of cybersecurity services, are partnering to transform modern security operations.
As part of this collaboration, NuSummit Cybersecurity has purchased Simbian’s flagship AI SOC product to power its new CognixMDR service, delivering autonomous threat detection and response at machine speed.
According to the companies, this new partnership addresses critical security challenges faced by enterprises such as in-house security operations teams who are often overwhelmed by the volume of security alerts and struggle with a shortage of skilled security personnel, while facing new, increasingly sophisticated AI-armed attacks.
By integrating Simbian’s AI SOC Agent, NuSummit’s CognixMDR will provide customers with 24/7 autonomous monitoring supplemented by NuSummit’s team of security experts.
“At NuSummit, we are committed to helping our clients navigate the most intricate cybersecurity challenges,” said Sameer Shelke, President, NuSummit, and CEO, NuSummit Cybersecurity. “By choosing Simbian’s AI SOC to power CognixMDR, we are setting a new benchmark for managed detection and response services. This partnership enables us to offer our customers a truly future-ready SOC, combining deep human expertise with the unmatched speed, scalability, and precision of agentic AI.”
CognixMDR is NuSummit’s advanced Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service designed to deliver resilient, proactive protection for global enterprises. By incorporating Simbian’s AI SOC technology, CognixMDR moves beyond manual triage to deliver Cognitive MDR capabilities, leveraging autonomous agents to correlate disparate security signals, uncover hidden threat patterns, and execute real-time remediation, the companies said.
For MDR providers such as NuSummit, Simbian’s AI SOC functions as a virtual security analyst, automatically investigating, triaging, and responding to alerts generated by a wide range of security tools, including SIEM, XDR, and EDR.
Built on a proprietary TrustedLLM architecture and the Simbian Context Lake, the Simbian AI SOC Agent understands each customer’s unique Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and business environment. This is done behind the scenes, while the MDR provider’s trained security staff continues to provide final oversight and manage customer communications, said the vendors.
“Security is a domain of ever-increasing complexity where every incident brings new variables,” said Ambuj Kumar, co-founder and CEO of Simbian. “Our partnership with NuSummit is a significant step toward our mission of making autonomous security accessible to everyone. By integrating our AI SOC into CognixMDR, we are enabling NuSummit to deliver customers a faster, more scalable path to strategic defense.”
