Superblocks, the leading platform for secure enterprise application development, is announcing an expanded partnership with Databricks, yielding a native integration between Superblocks’ multi-modal development experience and the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. With this integration, customers benefit from a secure, centralized location to both access enterprise data and AI models as well as build full-stack, internal, AI-powered apps.
Superblocks and Databricks’ collaboration was born from the growing pressure for organizations to transform their data into secure, production-ready AI applications, capable of powering and automating crucial business operations.
Now, customers are afforded the ability to access enterprise data and AI models from Databricks as well as Superblocks’ flexible solutions—such as Clark AI, the Visual Editor, and the underlying React framework—for building full-stack internal apps. This streamlined, integrated, secure experience delivers both a robust data foundation for AI as well as the tools to build exceptional applications on top of it, according to the companies.
“Our customers have invested in building a data and AI foundation in Databricks, and are increasingly turning to applications to help democratize those investments across their organization,” said Shanku Niyogi, VP of product at Databricks. “With Superblocks’ integration with Databricks, they’re able to accelerate the development of these data and AI applications, without sacrificing security and governance.”
Superblocks’ powerful, multi-modal application builder allows engineering, IT, and business teams to collaboratively build and deploy AI apps in a way that best fits their existing workflows. Superblocks enables teams to:
- Generate full-stack apps from natural language prompts with Clark, the first AI agent for internal enterprise apps.
- Visually build UIs, agents, and workflows with hundreds of drag-and-drop components, customizable with JavaScript or through bring-your-own React components.
- Extend and edit underlying React code directly in their IDE (Cursor, Windsurf, VSCode), paired with real-time sync to the Visual Editor.
Each of these capabilities can be seamlessly leveraged in conjunction with Databricks services, including Databricks SQL, Mosaic AI, Lakebase, and Unity Catalog, to help power applications.
“Databricks has transformed how organizations access and leverage data and AI. Superblocks takes it a step further empowering engineering, IT, and business teams to collaborate and build internal apps on top of that foundation,” said Brad Menezes, CEO of Superblocks. “Together, we’re unlocking a new era of enterprise software development where anyone can build secure, production-grade internal tools with full governance, all within the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.”
Applications can be hosted in Superblocks Cloud, in the customer’s own VPC via the Superblock on-prem agent, or, as part of a future update, directly as a Databricks App. These integrations are now generally available to all customers.
