TeamQuest, a global leader in IT capacity planning and performance monitoring, is adding advanced capacity management and application health capabilities for the Microsoft Azure cloud computing platform.
The new software is aimed at helping IT professionals better monitor and analyze the performance of virtual services running on Azure together with services running on in-house IT infrastructure, increasing environment visibility when using hybrid cloud environments.
“We’re simplifying hybrid cloud optimization, helping IT better manage public cloud together with on-premise IT infrastructure using a single solution that’s compatible with nearly any organization’s IT environment,” said TeamQuest CTO Bill Andruss.
The TeamQuest solution is already available for Amazon EC2, and with the addition of Azure, TeamQuest software will now cover the two most popular infrastructure-as-a-service providers, the company said. TeamQuest's compatibility with Azure and EC2 clouds is in addition to its comprehensive compatibility with a wide array of heterogeneous on-premise infrastructure elements used by most IT organizations.
