Managed application service provider TriCore Solutions has acquired Database Specialists, a database managed service company focused on support for Oracle database systems.
Database Specialists’ suite includes architecture, design, database tuning, performance management, and ongoing 24x7 technical support and continuous improvements, and offers proprietary Database Rx technology, a custom database monitoring, security, health check, and alert notifications platform.
According to TriCore, which has a focus on hosting and supporting enterprise resource planning systems, including the Oracle and SAP application suites, this latest acquisition is a “natural extension” to strengthen its support of other mission-critical enterprise applications that run on Oracle database systems.
Database management services are central to TriCore’s focus on application management, business intelligence and analytics solutions, and data warehouse environments, said Mark Clayman, CEO, TriCore Solutions, noting that with the help of the Database Specialists’ staff and the ability to leverage its Database Rx platform, TriCore will be able to expand and enhance its services to existing and new enterprise customers.
