iTKO Announces Integration of LISA with IBM Rational Software

iTKO, a provider of virtualization and validation solutions for enterprise cloud applications, announced integration of its LISA software with the IBM Rational Software Delivery Platform, based on the IBM Jazz platform. The combined products are intended to help to ease the challenges of developing and testing modern applications, including cloud-based services, integration platforms such as IBM WebSphere/MQ, DataPower and many more enabling technologies.

"This advance should benefit IBM Rational's Jazz development community and also support the efforts of the open services development movement," says John Michelsen, founder and chief scientist for iTKO. "LISA allows the teams that espouse these approaches to gain better transparency into distributed, multi-tier software, which may cross multiple enterprises and domains."

The iTKO integrations have received "Ready for IBM Rational Software" validation, and are available for on-premise deployment, the vendor says. iTKO also intends to offer the integrations in the cloud later this year. The iTKO solutions currently integrated with IBM Rational Quality Manager, IBM Rational Team Concert, IBM Rational ClearQuest and other IBM software tools include Integrated Defect and End-to-End Validation.

iTKO's LISA product suite eliminates application development constraints using virtual service environments, optimizes discovery and resolution of coding defects, and improves test automation and validation for complex enterprise applications. LISA virtualization and validation solutions also support cloud application development to remove accessibility and capacity constraints in elastic cloud development and test environments.

The latest iTKO integrations to IBM Rational Team Concert and IBM Rational ClearQuest leverage services in those products that are compliant with the Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration (OSLC) community specification, enabling iTKO to build common integrations at lower cost.
