Featured Thought Leader Article: Resources are Available from the Enterprise Manager SIG at Oracle OpenWorld and Online

By Kim Floss, Oracle Enterprise Manager Co-SIG Lead

Oracle OpenWorld is right around the corner, and for those attending, the opportunity for education is almost endless. Whether you are seeking information on Enterprise Manager, Database 12c new features, high availability, or anything else, there is sure to be a session at OpenWorld on your topic. Be sure to stop by the IOUG kiosk in location at the User Group Pavilion in Moscone South - South Lobby to enter to win books from Apress or a free registration to COLLABORATE 15. In addition, it’s a great place for networking – to make new friends and catch up with current ones – with common interests. And be sure and join us for the Enterprise Manager Special Interest Group meeting – date and time TBD – be sure to check the online agenda. We’d love to meet you in person, and hear your feedback.

But, not everyone can make the trek to San Francisco with thousands of their closest friends for education. Lucky for us, there is plenty of education available right from your own desk at work, or at home. Whether it’s attending an IOUG webinar, or reading a technical white paper on a topic, there are plenty of sources of information. We are hosting a webinar on obtaining heights of success using Enterprise Manager and a replay will be available this week. In June, we also presented a webinar on the new features for Enterprise Manager 12c – a replay is available here in case you missed it. In 1-hour chunks, the archived webinars are a great way to keep current on the information even if you can’t attend the webinar at the planned time. Since the IOUG attracts members from across the globe, it’s hard to find webinar times that work for everyone. Watch the archived webinars from the comfort of your own home (or office) whenever you want. As well, see above for a great article on organizing your Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c targets.
