Enterprises and Consumers Still Don't See Eye-to-Eye on Security

In the survey, consumers give relatively weak scores to businesses on their ability to protect sensitive data—a "61" on a scale of 1 to 100. By contrast, cybersecurity professionals assign an average score of 75. There are mismatched perceptions of data security, and customers simply don't trust what businesses are doing with the data they collect.
