They Aren’t Building Data Centers Fast Enough


The latest stats out of Cushman and Wakefield find that the U.S. data center market exhibited a robust year of leasing in 2014. The most vibrant markets were Dallas and Northern Virginia, with each geography tallying nearly 40MW of new data center leases.

The report added that “with a burgeoning pipeline of tenant requirements pointing to sustained demand, there are growing concerns that some markets may see temporary pockets of supply constraints. Some providers have already struggled to stay ahead of an acceleration of requirements.”
