Anyone who has ever attended Oracle OpenWorld knows that you must plan ahead. The conference held in San Francisco each fall is vast, and the upcoming event, scheduled for September 18–22, 2016, promises to be equally expansive. As in years before, tens of thousands of attendees from well over 100 countries can be expected converge to learn more about Oracle’s ever-expanding ecosystem of technologies, products, and services during more than 1,700 sessions held at the Moscone Center and multiple additional venues in downtown San Francisco.

Oracle OpenWorld will provide the opportunity for vendors to showcase their products and services to business and technology professionals from around the world, while attendees will be able to choose from more than 2,000 business and technology sessions, spanning cloud applications, such as marketing, social, service, sales, ERP, and HCM, as well as big data, database, middleware, and engineered system, and learn from experts in hundreds of interactive demos and hands-on labs.

Known for pointing the direction for the 12 months ahead with keynotes and presentations delivered by Oracle executives, Oracle OpenWorld, provides a sneak peek into the key trends that will be important from the perspective of the hardware, software and services giant.

With an event this large, many attendees also seize the event as an opportunity to connect with the trusted Oracle users groups that provide education, training, and advocacy for Oracle users, as well as expert insight on the key Oracle developments across big data, cloud, IoT, social, real time analytics, and more.
