Arvato, a global 3PL service provider specializing in supply chain management and data center logistics, is further expanding its Data Center Services footprint in the United States with a new logistics hub in Denton, Texas. Located in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, the facility marks the next milestone in building a scalable, high-security infrastructure network to support cloud computing and AI-driven growth, the company said.

IBM is launching its CAS offering, making it faster, easier, and more secure to perform RAG under the same roof as the rest of your data. Content-aware storage (CAS) represents a new value-add paradigm for traditional storage systems. CAS, which aligns storage solutions to meet the needs of new AI workloads, is centered around a pushdown of data processing functions. Specifically, CAS handles document vectorization using LLM-based embedding models—a process normally performed outside of the storage system—to support the retrieval augmented generation (RAG) pipeline.

IBM is introducing new cybersecurity measures designed to help organizations counter a new generation of cyber threats from weaponized frontier AI models. Attackers are already using frontier AI models to accelerate every phase of the attack lifecycle. These models represent a step change in offensive capability, which can dramatically lower the time, cost, and expertise required to carry out sophisticated attacks and push organizations toward continuous business disruption, according to IBM.

Lenovo Group Limited, together with its subsidiary, Lenovo or the Group, announced it has completed the acquisition of Infinidat Ltd. (Infinidat), a global provider of high-end enterprise storage solutions. According to Lenovo, the transaction strengthens its position in enterprise storage and enhances its ability to deliver resilient, intelligent, AI-ready data infrastructure to customers worldwide.
