Datical, a provider of database release automation solutions, is receiving $10 million in Series C funding, allowing the company to continue to expand its research and development, customer success capabilities, and sales and marketing functions.

Eyelevel.ai, a startup emerging from the 2018 Berkeley SkyDeck accelerator winter cohort, is introducing its first native conversational marketing platform. EyeLevel.ai's in-context, conversational ads and promotions deliver relevant messages to users that feel like recommendations from a friend. With more than 45 customers already signed up, and with a publisher network of more than 1700 chat applications, the company has closed a $2 million seed round, led by Birchmere Venture, with participation from Strawberry Creek Ventures, Inspiration Ventures as well as a second investment by Berkeley SkyDeck.

Io-Tahoe, a provider of smart data discovery and AI-driven data catalog products, is filing three new patents with the United States Patent and Trademark Office to continue to transform the data discovery space. The patent filings cover the generation of data signatures that accurately describe data in a human friendly form using advanced NLP (Natural Language Processing) techniques.

Zadara, provider of the Zero-Risk Enterprise Data Cloud, is making upgrades to the features and flexibility of its Virtual Private Storage Arrays available to Amazon Web Services (AWS) customers, including companies using VMware Cloud on AWS, via AWS Marketplace.
