Oracle is deploying OpenAI GPT-5 across its database portfolio and suite of SaaS applications, including Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, Oracle NetSuite, and Oracle Industry Applications, such as Oracle Health. By uniting trusted business data with frontier AI, Oracle is enabling customers to natively leverage sophisticated coding and reasoning capabilities in their business-critical workflows, the company said.
Because understanding and implementing AI is so critical, Oracle is announcing AI has become the central focus of its annual global customer and partner event, formerly known as Oracle CloudWorld—now being called Oracle AI World. The new name emphasizes Oracle's commitment to helping customers and partners take advantage of the latest AI innovations to move faster, reduce costs, make more-informed decisions, and build smarter businesses.
Oracle announced the general availability of Oracle Globally Distributed Exadata Database on Exascale Infrastructure, designed to simplify the deployment of distributed mission-critical applications across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) regions worldwide.
