AWS announced that Amazon Relation Database Service (Amazon RDS) is offering 4 new capabilities to help customers optimize their costs as well as improve efficiency and scalability for their Amazon RDS for Oracle and Amazon RDS for SQL Server databases.
Oracle is now offering Oracle Database@Google Cloud to customers in Canada, customers can now run Oracle Exadata Database Service on Dedicated Infrastructure, Oracle Autonomous AI Database, and Oracle Autonomous AI Lakehouse on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) in the North America-Northeast 1 (Montreal) and North America-Northeast 2 (Toronto) Google Cloud regions.
Oracle announced the Oracle Key Vault (OKV) is now available on Oracle Database Appliance, centralizing and securing keys for TDE and SSH. Most organizations already encrypt their sensitive data, but encryption alone is not enough to stop a breach. That is why robust, centralized key management is just as critical as strong encryption.
