To help ensure customers and partners get the most out of their investments in SAP software, Compuware has opened a new Center of Excellence for SAP solutions near SAP headquarters in Walldorf, Germany.

Finding high quality education and training remains a key challenge for SAP users, according to Mike Harrold, executive director for the Independent SAP Technical Users Group (ISUG-TECH). With the 2014 ISUG-TECH conference fast-approaching (April 14-17), Harrold talked about SAP's planned launch of ASE (Adaptive Server Enterprise) 16 at the conference and the best ways for SAP users to get the product information they need.

SAP PowerDesigner, an information modeling and enterprise architecture tool, can now integrate into an organization's operational process intelligence. The new release of SAP Sybase PowerDesigner includes integration with the SAP Solution Manager application management solution, full business process model and notation (BPMN) standard support for improved visibility upstream and downstream across teams using SAP NetWeaver Process Orchestration and additional support for SAP HANA.

SAP has announced the availability of the 7.4 version of the SAP Business Warehouse (SAP BW) powered by SAP HANA as part of the new in-memory data fabric architecture.
