Boomi, a leader in AI-driven automation, announced the general availability of native Change Data Capture (CDC) ingestion for SAP data. Available now, the new capability enables enterprise teams to securely ingest data from SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and SAP Business Warehouse (BW) into any cloud data lake or warehouse without writing a single line of code, according to Boomi.

IBM announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Cognitus, a leading SAP S/4HANA services provider, with industry-specific, AI-powered solutions. Cognitus will bring mission-critical SAP skills, including in RISE and GROW with SAP, as well as an extensive portfolio of software assets.

At its inaugural SAP Connect event, SAP showcased how the integration of AI, data, and applications creates unparalleled business value. These breakthroughs—including a new network of role-based assistants in Joule that partner with humans to elevate performance, an expanding data ecosystem that drives deeper insights, and supply chain software that anticipates disruptions—once again revolutionize how business gets done, SAP said.

SAP and Google Cloud are expanding their long-standing data and analytics partnership with the launch of SAP Business Data Cloud Connect for Google BigQuery. By connecting Google BigQuery, the autonomous data to AI platform with agentic capabilities, and SAP Business Data Cloud (SAP BDC), SAP and Google aim to help enterprises of all sizes gain more immediate access to trusted, business-ready data for enterprise analytics and AI across their platforms, according to the vendors.


Think About It

When we draw lines within an entity-relationship diagram (ERD) that represent a "relationship," the diagram only shows the exterior presentation. A relates to B in a one-to-many fashion. But what is the actual nature of that A-to-B relationship? Is the relationship one of composition where A is the whole and each B is a part of A? Can any B exist without an A?
