Prakash Kamath is an inquisitive thought leader, practitioner and innovator in data & analytics with over 12 years in financial services industry and has led large enterprise data transformation, big data modernization, data science capability enablement, and data management initiatives

Prakash currently serves as the Head of Data Management & Governance within Vanguard’s Institutional business. Prior to vanguard, he was a senior financial service technology leader within Deloitte’s strategy & analytics practice with proven success and expertise in leading strategic large-scale technology & digital transformations for clients such as Wells Fargo, American Express & Capital One. During his time at Deloitte Consulting, Prakash also published multiple internal and external thought leadership content on data and blockchain centric themes, as well as partnered with large fintech venture capital organizations such as PlugnPlay and Pantera Capital to identify potential startups for partnership and investments. Prakash earned his MBA from Katz Graduate School of Business in 2013 and a bachelor's in electrical engineering from Ramaiah Institute of Technology, India.
