RedPoint Global Adds New Support for Loading and Processing Data in HDInsight

RedPoint Global, a provider of data management and customer engagement software, has announced integration with Microsoft Azure HDInsight to support enhanced data management capabilities via Hadoop deployments on Microsoft Azure. RedPoint is a member of the Microsoft Partner Network, and the new integration evolved from its participation in the Microsoft Enterprise Cloud Alliance Program.

With HDInsight integration, RedPoint Data Management users will be able to scale the volume, variety, and velocity of their data to consistently identify the same customer (or entity) across both new data and traditional in-house data stores.

According to RedPoint Global CTO George Corugedo, Azure customers that seek to maximize their data investments and simplify their HDI consumption will find RedPoint’s new integration useful, and is part of RedPoint’s continuing effort to offer customers more options for creating high quality data and using it effectively. With the addition of RedPoint Data Management support, Azure HDInsight customers will be able to process their data quickly and efficiently in the cluster, added  Tiffany Wissner, senior director product marketing, Data Platform Microsoft Corp.
