Arcserve, LLC, a provider of data protection and recovery software and services, has launched the Arcserve Cloud, a service for off-site data protection. Integrated with the Arcserve Unified Data Protection (UDP) Appliance, the Arcserve Cloud enables organizations to complete their data protection strategy with a means to achieve disaster recovery and business continuity.

BMC Software and Compuware Corporation have integrated their respective IBM z Systems management solutions so shared customers can reduce their mainframe software licensing costs by up to 10% or more.

CA Technologies has enhanced its DevOps portfolio to make the job of IT operations teams easier. The enhanced monitoring solutions for agile operations provide the speed and scale organizations need to rapidly deploy new applications, monitor dynamic environments, and continually optimize application quality.

IBM is now offering NVIDIA Tesla K80 dual-GPU accelerators on bare-metal cloud servers. With the new offering, IBM Cloud is bringing high-speed performance to the SoftLayer cloud infrastructure, enabling companies to build supercomputing clusters without having to expand their existing technology infrastructure.

Seagate Technology plc, a storage solutions provider, will be integrating IBM Spectrum Scale software with its ClusterStor High Performance Computing (HPC) storage to create a new software-defined storage appliance. The appliance is intended to help users manage the demands of data-intensive workloads, such as genomic research, computer aided design, digital media, data analytics, financial model analysis, and electronic design simulations.
