Ahana has raised $2.25 million in funding led by GV (formerly Google Ventures) along with participation from Leslie Ventures and other angel investors. Additionally, Ahana has joined the Linux Foundation's Presto Foundation.

BMC has announced the close of its acquisition of Compuware, a provider of mainframe application development, delivery, and performance solutions. Compuware is now a part of the BMC ZSolutions organization that serves the mainframe industry. BMC said it was one of the largest acquisitions in its history and the company's third acquisition in less than 2 years.

BMC, which just completed the purchase of Compuware, has unveiled BMC AMI Operational Insight, an AI-driven solution that uses machine learning to detect anomalies and maximize lead time for remediation to mitigate mainframe issues before they become business problems.

Delphix, provider of the Delphix DataOps Platform, has announced the completion of its original mission to provide a comprehensive data platform—from Kubernetes to mainframes—to accelerate digital and customer experience transformation for global enterprises. 

Microsoft has announced Host Integration Server 2020 (HIS 2020), which offers technologies and tools enabling enterprise IT organizations to integrate existing IBM host systems, programs, messages, and data efficiently and securely with new Azure and Windows applications.
