IBM is acquiring Pliant, a leading provider of network and IT infrastructure automation products, adding essential capabilities to automate network and IT infrastructure tasks and abstract these functions to the application layer. These optimizations include infrastructure resource provisioning and management, traffic management, and configuration management for both traditional network and IT infrastructure and public clouds.

IBM is augmenting IBM Power with IBM Power Virtual Server, helping enterprises by providing a flexible, scalable, and secured platform to run mission-critical workloads, including AI, that extends on-premises environments to the cloud. With a flexible-as-a-service offering, IBM is helping clients with frictionless workload migration and modernization from on-premises to the cloud.
