HashiCorp, an IBM company, is introducing a series of Infrastructure and Security Lifecycle innovations, and a preview of Project infragraph—a new strategic investment for the HashiCorp Cloud Platform (HCP) that lays the groundwork for agentic infrastructure. The announcements were made at HashiConf 2025, the 10th global conference hosted by HashiCorp and its first as an IBM company.
IBM is unveiling IBM Network Intelligence, a network-native AI solution that addresses the escalating complexity of modern telecommunications and enterprise networks. Developed in collaboration with IBM Research, the solution is essential for organizations that want to transform every phase of network operations and build trustworthy AI, according to IBM.
IBM and AMD are collaborating to deliver advanced AI infrastructure to Zyphra, an open-source AI research and product company based in San Francisco, California. Under a multi-year agreement between IBM and Zyphra, IBM is positioned to deliver a large cluster of AMD Instinct MI300X GPUs on IBM Cloud for Zyphra to use for training frontier multimodal foundation models.
IBM is launching Granite 4, the next generation of IBM language models—featuring a new hybrid Mamba/transformer architecture that greatly reduces memory requirements without sacrificing performance. According to IBM, these models can be run on significantly cheaper GPUs and at significantly reduced costs compared to conventional LLMs.
