Alteryx, a provider of software for analytic process automation, and HCL Technologies, a global technology company, have formed a strategic alliance to help companies succeed in their analytics automation and digital transformation priorities. As part of this strategic engagement, HCL has also been named an Alteryx Elite Alliance Partner. The companies say this alliance is driven by the large and growing market opportunity for enterprise-wide data analytics, data science, and process automation.
Cherwell Software, a provider of delivering service experiences through integrated, adaptable technology, is adding AIOps to its product suite, enabling agile and autonomous IT operation processes, further enhancing service management, monitoring, and automation across the enterprise.
Data intelligence software company Collibra has acquired OwlDQ, a provider of predictive data quality software that uses machine learning to detect anomalies in data, to generate data quality rules automatically, and to reconcile replication errors. With the integration of OwlDQ into the Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud, the company will provide a new offering, Collibra Data Quality, which will allow organizations to centralize and automate data quality workflows to comply with global regulations and streamline their data and analytics processes across the enterprise.
Commvault, a data management software vendor, has announced a new partnership with Skytap to expand data protection and migration for IBM i (AS/400) workloads hosted in Skytap on Microsoft Azure. Commvault is partnering with Skytap to offer a solution that backs up, recovers, and migrates data on IBM i that is hosted and running in Skytap for Azure cloud data centers.
HelpSystems has acquired Digital Defense, a provider of vulnerability management and threat assessment solutions. "The addition of Digital Defense offers threat-weary IT teams the capabilities they need to increase infrastructure security on two fronts: via leading-edge vulnerability management technology as well as seasoned pen testing resources to broaden our existing expertise," said Kate Bolseth, CEO, HelpSystems.
