Assured Data Protection, a prominent IT managed services provider for cloud data protection solutions, is offering new features for ProtectView that allows enterprises to raise, update, and report specific incidents and service requests directly through the ProtectView platform to help better manage Rubrik estates.Â
According to a 2020 analysis by Gartner, 75 % of all databases will be deployed or migrated to a cloud platform by 2022. But moving database workloads, such as Oracle and SQL, can be complex and expensive. There are typically two options, 'lift and shift' or pivot to a new architecture. DBTA recently held a webinar with Peter Elliman, director, product marketing, Druva and Jesse Kachapis director, solution architecture, Druva, who discussed how Druva offers direct-to-cloud data protection for databases running on-premises and in the cloud.
Hasura, the data access infrastructure company, is adding cross database joins to the Hasura GraphQL Engine, allowing the ability to access data across databases at the API layer. The company also added schema sharing capabilities and git-based CI/CD workflows. These features are available in preview and will be generally available later this year.
DataRobot and Palantir Technologies have announced a new partnership designed to create real-time solutions to help solve the most pressing demand forecasting problems.
