Data Growth No Longer "Doubling Each Year"

Entrinsik, well known in the MultiValue arena for database reporting and analytics software and services for the UniVerse and UniData databases from IBM, will unveil the feature-complete beta release of a major new version of the company's Informer Web Reporting solution this month. The new release offers native access to multiple databases, including Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, DB2, Informix, and Microsoft Access, in addition to UniVerse and UniData, as well as easy navigation and dynamic linking for reporting across multiple data sources.

Idera, a leading provider of management and administration solutions for Microsoft Windows Servers, has announced SQLsecure 2.5, a security analysis solution that helps database administrators (DBAs) identify and track SQL Server security issues in order to ensure compliance with corporate security audit requirements.

At a joint press conference in New York last week, SAP AG and Sybase announced a partnership to deliver the new SAP Business Suite software to iPhone, Windows Mobile, BlackBerry and other devices by integrating it with Sybase's mobile enterprise application platform. SAP unveiled SAP Business Suite 7 software on Feb. 4.

The Spring Framework is an open source application framework that is used to implement standard application structures for the Java Platform. STS is a complete set of tools for developing Java applications within this framework that run on major application servers such as IBM WebSphere, Apache Tomcat, Oracle WebLogic, JBoss, and SpringSource dm Server. Application developers rely on STS as an Eclipse-based IDE that speeds development, dictates best practices, and assists with solving runtime problems while creating applications.
