Confluent, Inc., an event streaming provider, is introducing new capabilities in Confluent Cloud that protect event data from threats and vulnerabilities across the entire Apache Kafka ecosystem. Through Project Metamorphosis, Confluent is adding new capabilities like role-based access control (RBAC), audit logs, customer control of encryption keys, and additional private networking connectivity options to Confluent Cloud to make it even easier to secure sensitive events and harness the full power of cloud-native Kafka.
Knowledge graphs are taking on greater prominence in enterprise information strategies. Joe Hilger, co-founder of the consultancy Enterprise Knowledge, recently explained what's happening and why the technology is now in the spotlight as a critical piece in the information management puzzle. "Any technologies that make it easier to find, share, and collaborate remotely are incredibly valuable," says Hilger.
