DigiCert, a global provider of digital trust and a member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), is integrating DigiCert ONE, the platform for digital trust, on the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). According to the companies, customers will benefit from DigiCert ONE's fast time to value combined with OCI's high-performance and security-first architecture for single and multi-cloud deployments. Moving forward, DigiCert and Oracle will collaborate on further integration into the OCI ecosystem to help joint customers manage their digital trust initiatives in a unified architecture.

Oracle is adding innovations to Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse, the industry's autonomous database powered by machine learning and optimized for analytics workloads, breaking through the proprietary and closed nature of traditional data warehouses and data lakes. Oracle is providing native multi-cloud capabilities and open standard-based data sharing across databases, simplifying data integration and analysis with a unique low-code based tool, and transforming the economics of data lakes by providing ultra-fast enterprise storage at the same low cost as object storage.

Oracle Cloud VMware Solution is announcing its Spring '23 release, which includes support for flexible Standard shapes with independent scaling of compute and storage.


Think About It

The end goal of database design is to be able to transform a logical data model into an actual physical database. A logical data model is required before you can even begin to design a physical database. Assuming that the logical data model is complete, though, what must be done to implement a physical database?
