Pure Storage, provider of an all-flash data platform, has announced a new Copy Automation Tool (CAT) for SAP systems that allows customers to automate the entire SAP database copy, clone, and refresh process, including database, pre- and post-copy tasks.

SAP is updating the S/4HANA Cloud, making advances in machine learning, user experience, extensibility, and more. As announced in September at SAP TechEd, this latest release of SAP S/4HANA Cloud also includes the launch of the SAP S/4HANA Cloud software development kit (SDK), which provides a simple end-to-end development experience that enables SAP customers, partners, and independent software vendors (ISVs) to easily develop custom applications, extending the capabilities of SAP S/4HANA Cloud.

Silwood Technology Ltd., a U.K.-based supplier of enterprise application metadata intelligence software, has announced the availability of a GDPR Starter Pack for SAP to give users of the ERP software a kick-start in identifying the precise location of personal data fields in any SAP system.

Wipro Limited, a provider of information technology, consulting and business process services, is launching solutions on SAP Leonardo to focus on the utilities industry. Through this partnership Wipro and SAP are jointly developing use cases that leverage blockchain technology for the utilities industry.
