THE NEED FOR QUALITY customer data across the entire organization has never been greater, but the data engineers and developers on the ground know that building pipelines and integrating data across the stack is no small task. Customer data platforms can help automate the process, but few can handle real-time use cases and most create another data silo. RudderStack is the answer to those customer data infrastructure problems.

RudderStack enables you to collect, transform, and activate your customer data across your stack, leveraging your cloud data warehouse as the central source of truth.

With RudderStack you can collect data once and send it across your entire stack, unlocking powerful use-cases regardless of your data maturity level—whether you’re looking to build a unified customer profile for BI or looking to generate product recommendations based on predictive models.

MORE THAN JUST MOVING DATA

The importance of data cannot be overstated. Every organization is undergoing some type of digital transformation, and all of those initiatives require a transformation of data. As organizations continue to become more data-driven, how they manage data becomes even more critical to harnessing its power. One of the most foundational elements of such efforts is the migration of data.
At Syniti, we’ve been managing data transformations for more than 25 years and we’re constantly thinking about how we can be smarter about our approach to migrations. One common misconception is that you’re just moving data from one place to another when, in reality, the entire point should be to extract value as soon as possible.

It’s like moving houses. You don’t just move everything—you make a lot of decisions before you start. What will be kept (what you’ve used and how) and what will be discarded; when and how you’ll move those belongings and where they will go, including any new rooms which require new furniture, or in some cases, renovations to fit your vision. Deciding what’s important, what’s relevant, and how something will be used are critical to the success of a data migration (and a house move).

Deciding to move—or in some cases construct—the data that matters to your business, in a way that matters will help you derive value, faster, from your transformation efforts. Much like a house, it doesn’t pay to skimp on the foundation.
