Qlik Offers Initiatives for Nonprofits with the Qlik Cares Program

Qlik, a global leader in data integration, analytics, and AI, is launching Qlik Cares, a reimagined and expanded program aimed at transforming how the company supports nonprofits.

While Qlik has provided data and over $40 million of analytics support to hundreds of mission-driven organizations for more than 15 years, Qlik Cares represents a deeper, more collaborative model—mobilizing technology, expertise, and people across the Qlik ecosystem to drive scalable, measurable outcomes, the company said.

With Qlik Cares, eligible organizations will gain discounted access to Qlik’s full portfolio—including data integration, analytics, and AI—alongside pro bono project support from Qlik employees, partners, university students, and customers.

Qlik Cares will continue to serve the pillars of climate action, global health and equity, humanitarian relief and education. The program will continue to support organizations in making smarter, faster, more data-informed decisions where it matters most.

“In this global time of need, we are proud to enhance our program, Qlik Cares, to mobilize resources from multiple angles—our platform, our people, and our ecosystem—to accelerate the missions of those solving society’s greatest challenges,” said Julie Kae, VP of sustainability and executive director of Qlik.org. “Solutions need access to data, technology, and a deep understanding of how to set priorities and actionable targets. This is knowledge that only Qlik and our ecosystem of talented and experienced partners, who specialize in data-driven solutions, can provide.”

New initiatives within Qlik Cares include:

  • Expanded access: Global nonprofits can now apply for discounted access to Qlik’s full suite of tools—from AutoML and data integration to analytics and generative AI.
  • Pro bono engagement: Projects will span from one-hour training sessions to multi-month engagements—such as app development, ETL builds, and AI readiness workshops—powered by both Qlik employees and certified partners.
  • Matching portal: A centralized Qlik Cares Portal, launching later this year, will connect organizations with available Qlik experts, including university students, and resources for high-impact data projects.
  • Outcome-focused hackathons: Qlik is scaling its support of hackathons, ensuring solutions move from demo to deployment—supporting critical real-world use cases.

“Access to clean, usable data is essential to delivering aid quickly and effectively in crisis zones—but it’s not something most humanitarian organizations can do alone,” said Heidi Cockram, CIO, Medair. “Qlik’s support, both in technology and hands-on expertise, helped us accelerate how we manage information in the field. It’s a real partnership built on trust, speed, and a shared commitment to saving lives.”

Qlik Cares is a company-wide initiative, embedded across functions and products. From AI expertise to ETL consulting, the program will leverage every corner of the Qlik ecosystem to meet organizations where they are—and take them where they need to go with data.

The Qlik Cares Portal will launch soon, expanding opportunities to connect, contribute, and create impact together.

“We believe data is the world’s most powerful resource, so it should serve those who need it most,” according to the company.
