Like it or not, we’re being watched. Companies want to know the places we go, our likes, dislikes, what we say and to whom. Don’t worry, it’s not for nefarious reasons—they just want to sell us stuff. And what better way to get to know us than to monitor our activity in a veritable sea of social websites, mobile applications, and online stores that resemble the jacket of a NASCAR driver.

At a minimum, companies have an ERP system to collect business transactions like orders, however there are other sources of valuable data that may never find its way into the ERP system. An ecommerce website, for example can tell companies what we almost bought and what we think of the products we did buy from our ratings and reviews. That client relationship management (CRM) system can tell companies how long it takes us to make a buying decision or which of their competitors we prefer. If a company grows through acquisition, each newly acquired company increases the number of data sources. Businesses must corral and collate this data for analysis to better understand their customers and market.

Kore Technologies focuses on solutions that help data-driven companies with this challenge. Our Kourier Integrator solution helps aggregate information from disparate data sources for business intelligence reporting. Kourier can also help companies integrate with best-in-class solutions such as forecasting, CRM, or ecommerce. If you need a stronger ecommerce presence, our KommerceServer eCommerce Suite offers an integrated full-featured storefront and portal that can keep a watchful eye on your customers.
