Accenture is launching an analytics as a service solution designed to help a range of users, from the C-suite to data scientists, make data-driven decisions that can solve business issues and create new opportunities. "Our interest is really straight-forward and threefold," said John Matchette, managing director at Accenture Analytics.
Xplenty, a data integration cloud platform, is releasing a new offering that will enable users to query and analyze data directly on Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3). The new offering, dubbed Analytics-as-a-Service or "A3S," will provide Xplenty users with the capability to use Amazon's object-based storage repository (Amazon S3) on the cloud to quickly access the data through SQL or any other Business Intelligence (BI) or reporting tool.
SIOS Technology Corp. has unveiled a new product designed to understand and optimize VMware environments. Dubbed SIOS iQ, the platform applies advanced machine-learning analytics to broad datasets, including application and infrastructure data from-third party tools and frameworks, in order to understand and explain complex behaviors and predict the impact of changes in dynamic virtual environments.
