As a result of this acquisition, Talend says it will be the first company to offer an open source MDM solution, providing organizations with the exact features and benefits found in proprietary MDM solutions, at a fraction of the cost. The MDM technology is a complement to Talend's open source data integration and data quality solutions, and will speed open source MDM time to market.
