Attunity CloudBeam for Azure SQL Data Warehouse, a new cloud solution from Attunity, enables automated and optimized data loading from enterprise databases into the Azure SQL Data Warehouse. The new offering will simplify and accelerate data loading from enterprise databases, making it easier for customers to adopt the new Microsoft data warehouse service and benefit from big data analytics, according to Itamar Ankorion, executive vice president of business development and corporate strategy at Attunity.

Dell is releasing a series of updates to its Toad family of database solutions that will continue to prioritize managing data across a variety of platforms. The latest round of updates to the Toad family of solutions enables customers to automate agile development practices, improve data preparation for analytics and reporting, and gain flexibility in selecting database platforms, according to Dell.

SAP is releasing a new way to help enterprises deploy SAP Business Suite 4 SAP HANA, driving quick time value and immediate results. The SAP Activate consumption experience enables partners to extend the ready-to-run business processes shipped by SAP and simultaneously design and continue to update their own custom best practices and co-innovate.

Red Hat Enterprise Linux for SAP HANA is now available in the AWS Marketplace, providing customers with additional deployment options for their big data workloads. "Now with many implementation options, ranging from bare-metal hardware to vast, scalable operations in the cloud, Red Hat Enterprise Linux for SAP HANA can fit nearly every enterprise big-data scenario, from the mundane to the extreme," said Jim Totton, vice president and general manager for the Platforms Business Unit at Red Hat.

SAP has announced an update to SAP SQL Anywhere. Version 17 of the embeddable database technology enables Internet of Things (IoT) systems and data-intensive mobile apps to leverage new remote data synchronization capabilities of SAP SQL Anywhere with the SAP HANA platform to help securely move data between the enterprise and remote locations at the edge of the network.
