Data governance is the formulation of policy to optimize, secure, and leverage information as an enterprise asset by aligning the objectives of multiple functions. Data governance programs have traditionally been focused on people and process. This paper will introduce specific examples of how to leverage OEMM and EDQ tools within a well-defined data governance process and will also provide specific technical examples of how to deploy these solutions on Oracle and Intel® based engineered systems.
